Piezoelectric active buzzer adds sound features to projects. It can be easily used on breadboard, Perf Board and even on PCBs. It widely used in electronics. When powered, it makes a beep sound. The sound is due to the internal oscillating circuit inside it.
It can simply be used by powering it using a DC power supply ranging from 3.5 V to 6 V. It is recommended to use a regulated +5V or +6V DC supply. Its normally associated with a switching circuit which turns ON or OFF the buzzer at required time and interval.
Applications of Piezoelectric active buzzer:
- Used in alarming Circuits
- In addition to that as Computer and peripherals
- Portable equipment
- Electronic cash register
- It is also used in communication equipment
- Also used for Automobile electronics
- Lastly, for Portable equipment
Features
- Voltage of between 3.5 to 6 V
