Description

74HC245 is designed for asynchronous two-way communication between data buses. It allows data transmission from the A bus to the B bus. Or from the B bus to the A bus. This depends on the logic level at the direction-control (DIR) input. To add on that, output-enable (OE) input can be used to disable the device so that the buses are effectively isolated

Features of 74HC245 includes;

  • Supplying Voltage Ranges between 2 V to 6 V.
  • High-Current 3-State Outputs Drive Bus Lines buses. Directly or Up to 15 LSTTL Loads
  • Low Power Consumption; thus 80-μA Max Icc.
  • Operating Temperature Range of between -40°C to +85°C.
  • Lastly, has a Low Input Current of 1 μA Max
