Description
74HC390E is a 4-bit decade ripple counter. It is a high-speed silicon-gate CMOS device. Additionally, it has pin compatible with low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). The 74HC390E is also divided into four separately clocked sections. Each of the counters has a two divide by 2 sections and two divide by 5 sections.

- The 74HC390E is a Bi-Quinary Counter.
- Single package can be arranged to Divide-by-2, 4, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50 or 100.
- Operating Temperature Range of between -55oC to 125oC.
- Balanced Propagation Delay and Transition Times.
- It has a Significant Power Reduction Compared to LSTTL Logic ICs.
- Lastly, it has HC types of between – 2V to 6V Operation.
